Anybody having any luck collecting from JBT?? At getting Kelly Gates to answer the phone?

I have 1 last invoice to get paid from October. A/P won't answer so I spoke with the dispatcher directly. To his credit, he was quite helpful. Apparently they are doing a cheque run this week and he promised to get mine paid. I'm crossing my fingers....but not getting my hopes up.

Did anyone get paid yet? We are having the same issues. We have an invoice from December.

I did get paid! It took quite some time, but I got paid for an October invoice just this month. I had to call all the time and would only get Kelly's voicemail. So I would hang up and tell the receptionist I would like to have Kelly paged, and they did. It still took many calls to her, but don't give up. Keep after the amount owing. My amount owing was very small, so I can't speak for larger accounts, but my advice is to persist!

Maybe send a message directly to the owner. I know in the past it got me somewhere....once they realize that their unpaid accounts receivables are being thrown out there for everyone to know about...they react. Good Luck.
 
Does anyone have any recent payment info? Have they gotten better?
 
Anyone have any updates on JBT's service? I have a load pending to San Francisco. Any help would be appreciated.
 
I was looking to give them a load but this still says something about them. Thanks for the feedback!
 
I wouldn't take freight from them for sure ... every rating system rates them poorly as far as credit risk goes.

I was at an industry event a few weeks ago and Dennis was also there. He ended up going on this rant during a Q&A period and really, my feeling is that he wants to make it work but money is a big problem. If I'm not mistaken, he owned Kenmore when it existed as well ... and that also didn't end well. I just don't think it was on purpose.
 
Our experience with JBT from a service perspective is hit and miss. They have moved several loads for us this year and generally pick up and deliver when they say. We show 4 of 22 loads delivering late. There are notes in our system that their dispatch tends to over promise. I would suggest using caution if the load you are considering giving them is time sensitive.
 
Company not paying invoices and not delivering a good service. Company being sued by the Banks Dennis is a scammer. Don't do business with this company (JBT, Heritage, Drumbo) He bankrupted Kenmore and bankrupted JBT.
