Is tonight the night?

I see no one has mentioned it yet, so I will. The Blue Jays are on the brink of an amazing achievement, unseen in Canada since 1993. A team that last year finished at the bottom of their division. They are a team of second stringers, other teams cast-offs, a few genuine super stars and young hungry rookies. I was fortunate enough to have been to many of the games in the last World Series and I can distinctly remember the electricity that pulsed through the Dome. Without question, I know where I will be tonight, planted firmly in front of my TV rooting for my Jays. My wife can handle the trick or treating although I believe most parents will have their kids off the street and back at home by game time!

I was out on Younge Street after Joe hit it out in 93'. I'll be cheering big time, but from the couch as well. We have our treat table ready to go out, and we will self-serve this year for these little ones after 7:30 tonight.

What a rollercoaster—well done, Jays! I used to dislike our front office, but that has passed. I'm looking forward to next year!
