Anyone else have problems with renewals since April?

I received our renewal in June. The whole pre-printed renewal application was wrong. Weights weren't correct for 85% of my tractors.

All weight registrations in the U.S. were wrong. Canada is in Kgs, U.S in LBS. Some dolt converted my U.S weights to kgs, which when showing up on the cab-cards indicates a vehicle is 42,000 lbs under required registered RGW. Instead of 80, 000 they show 38,000.

To make matters worse, the local IRP office couldn't help. IT supports only recommendation was to redo it all myself, send my forms with their forms and a cover letter to explain their mistakes.

I did everything they asked, submitted everything July 4. July 22 I get the information back with very little evidence things have been rectified. I noticed the RGW for some of the tractors are still wrong.

IT says oh it will be ok, the changes still haven't caught up with their programs. Local office says to bring it in anyway, but if they are still not right at processing time, they can't do it.

Delemna is..... the fleet registration expires july 31.

The whole new system is riddled with mistakes,stinks of incompetancy, the local support people don't have any proper training to help you through the process and can only send you to IT support. Then, if your lucky, you might connect with someone that can speak coherant English and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it.

Any other time I've done a renewal, I've never been ,more than 20 minutes in the local office to finalize the transaction. Yesterday, they tell me I could be an hour or more. WTF???

I have an appointment tommorrow to pick up my registrations and cab-cards. Hopefully, after I've done all their work for them, they can actually get the renewal right.If not, I'll be scrambling to get another appointment early next week or I'll have 50 tractors grounded all over N. America Wednesday at midnight.
 
Yes, we have had issues as well, our local MPP has been kind enough to make some phone calls on our behalf and seems to be working to address the issue on our behalf...
 
Must be using the Waterloo IRP office, a lot of different staff over the last year and then throw in a system change.....................
 
It's not the office staff, Linda and crystal have been great .... it was the system change that has everything screwed up. Friggin gubermint had a good system and the Liberals decided to change it. like everything else they've touched in the last 9 years... they broke it.
 
Well, that went almost painlessly. Funny how they can send you renewal info but couldn't process the over-rides at the same time. I spent hours on the phone and redoing their errors, went in today for final processing to get a Paid invoice with all the wrong info. Then, double-checking each vehicle cab-card as it's coming off the printer...... they had all the RIGHT info.

FYI... changes were to be made in September to allow carriers to do their renewals on-line. DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH. It's not going to happen.
