Good Morning all...

I just thought I would share this info in case it becomes useful to someone out there. We did a couple loads for a company called Iron Horse Logistics. The contact was a man named 'Eddie'... ph# 905-396-0343 or 905-355-5643. (PO BOX 993 COLBORNE ON K0K 1S0) We did two loads in 2009, one in early 2010. To date, these are STILL unpaid, despite my best efforts to track this guy down. The first two loads we did were empty pallets out of Uniboard, the last load was Imaflex to Carustar.
Eddie is a dead beat, and I highly suggest you avoid him and his poor business practices... (EDWARD MAZUREK)

Sounds double-brokered. Caraustar is an account that is held by a couple of people I know. Check the paperwork to see if there's any indication of any other carrier being named. I seem to recall talking to this Iron Horse Logistics once. I don't recall them being from Colborne (I'm in Peterborough and the only company I've ever known in that area was Nikki-Jacq, which is long out of business, and Durham Transport, which is not really in the freight business.)

Looks like they are out of business and authority shows "dismissed":

If Eddie hasn't tried to get a new CVOR, assuming it's his real name, you can start with whoever lives at that address. I'm hoping the money you need to recover didn't pay for the big honkin' pool I see in the satellite photo.

This is also the address that the DOT has on file for their MC number.

There's a ton of people named Edward Mazurek (appears to be a popular Polish name) and I didn't see any Facebook profiles that looked like who you're looking for. Local trucking companies usually have the skinny on who the deadbeats are or what owners are (or aren't) doing. You could try and inquire with some companies in Colborne and start by asking what happened to Iron Horse and, gee, do you know if Ed Mazurek is still in trucking without really tipping anyone off that why you're looking (if they don't ask.) Check with neighbours where they last were and they might know too.
