Does anyone know where recent statistics on how many carriers and owner-operators are in Canada and the United States, by fleet size? The last report I saw was 2005 (Stats Canada) and that seems a tad old. Thanks!

I don't have the numbers you are asking for but I did see a blurb that said over 15,000 carriers between 1 and 15 trucks had closed there doors or gone bamkrupt in the last 3 years...

You can try this from the OTA website. The numbers are only Ontario though.
