Where is the freight!? Is it just western Canada, or is the east feeling the same thing? Outbound can't keep up, inbound head banging against wall? Just wonderin

Its same everywhere. very slow and rates are below running cost.

It seems as if the outbound spot market has now become slow and cheap as well. I saw some postings for Toronto-Chicago - $600CDN FIRM - yikes! Reminds me of 2008

I guess next week the inbound to Canada rate will jump with the lack of outbound over the past week end and beginning of this week.

Maybe all the shippers are on holidays as they await the outcome of the Leafs/Bruins game tonight. Maybe tomorrow all will be back to normal .....
