Has anyone worked for IGX Logistics? I have one truck that they are claiming would provide work within Canada (driver can not cross the border).

They pay percentage but I don't have any source that I would obtain any deeper information.

Thank you

J

Anyone know anything about these guys? They did a load for me and want payment badly. I get the feeling they may be double brokering but can't find anything on them other then they have 1 truck.

If you look at SAFER, NO INSPECTIONS EVEN!

I would demand that he come in with his paperwork so you can actually see the PARS on it. Even for one truck, unusual to not have a single inspection.

It was a CDN to CDN move and yeah something ain't right there. They say they have 18 trucks and are all owner operators and just one company truck. Needless to say I still have not come across anything or anyone that knows these guys. And they are looking for quick pay and won't give me any references. Any one else out there know about these guys are they a double broker scam?

If they won't provide any references - how do they expect to be paid? Huge red flag there....

Post the details about your load here - chances are it was double brokered and one of our members is the actual delivering carrier. Then you can contact them directly. Tell IGX when the carrier confirms payment - you will gladly pass your payment along to them. This has happened quite a few times on this board - it gets resolved.

If IGX doesn't pay the carrier - you can pay them directly...protect yourself first or you'll be paying again later on...

FYI - they have no D&B credit information whatsoever - data is blank - which usually means they just opened up shop...

Packrule,

I agree with DRC, hopefully another member here can help you find the 'true' carrier if this was rebrokered.

On that note. We try and keep a rule of thumb here - if you are testing a 'newer carrier' in your arsenal, try and have both the shipper and consignee verify the name/logo on the truck picking up and delivering. If they tell you another company name, it helps you know who to call!!

Keep well,

Mike

Load moved on Tuesday Mar 5th from Calgary to Regina it was a load of appliances. Trailer spotted on Monday night at 7 pm and departed calgary at 9:30 Tuesday morning. Delivery took place on Wednesday morning on time at 8:00.

They have provided me references although the first was Low Risk Logistics which the guy said he works for IGX. Second was First Choice who said they are really good and she said she wasn't related to them hahaha. Third is Galaxy I haven't talked to them yet. But if anyone sees any flags on the references carriers let me know.

thanks DRS and MIke Jr. I verified names and such although it's so easy for them to be faked and most shippers and receivers are so dam lazy and don't understand the consequences of not checking. Thanks though guys great info it's why I check all my new guys on here.
