Has anyone had a good experience with I-Way transport? They are an LTL carrier and the few loads they have done for us have been a complete mess. Just curious if this happens all the time or it was just the deliveries we had.

I-WAY has handled 5 shipments (last quarter 2017) for our Brokerage side w/o issue.
That being said, all loads were fairly straight forward and communication was OK.

How long ago have you done business with them? They did not communicate with us at all. We had a sealed trailer they cut the seal, cross docked and stacked our freight without letting us know anything.

Pretty sure there is another recent thread out there outlining re-brokering and shady activities..

DNU.... placed some postal freight on our truckload going west. Trailer was "stuck" at their LTL receiver for over 2 weeks. Nightmare would be an understatement.

Nothing recent but they did 5 orders for us last year and would use them again.

We did an expedited power only for them ON- MB last year - all good and we got paid on time. Picked form their yard in ON and dropped to their x dock in Winnipeg - pre loaded trailer....however they wanted to load more on it after my team had hooked and there was no space - so tried to reshuffle and my driver refused to let more on as it would not be tandem weight then - that was all

They did 22 loads for us in the last 10 months, however, as the saying goes. Only as good as your last load. They did all they could to mediate the situation but in the end, the product arrived 2 weeks late resulting in a significant cost to our customer. Up till this, they were amazing. They got greedy using the empty space left by our shipper on the trailer and in the end it costs big. I hope they learned from it and won't risk anyone's business in the future.
