We agreed on 1900 CAD, after the pick-up she found out that the pallet is worth over 100,000 USD.
She said that due to the high value of the load, they want 600 CAD extra.
I told them that the customer has his own insurance policy and we don't require full coverage, not even 2 CAD \ lb is needed and offered to confirm this liability detail in the rate confirmation.
The shipment was already picked-up, so we were constrained to accept the rate increase, although I clearly explained her that I don't need her insurance. She simply started raising the voice instead of trying to be reasonable.
