How to review a Trucking Company

Why on earth would you even bother providing a reply with absolutely no value whatsoever? Last thing I need is someone who obviously wants to start an argument on the internet for no apparent reason other than his hatred for freight brokers? Let me form a reply worthy of yours:

1) Why would I want your customer list when it likely consists of all freight brokers.

2) If you hate freight brokers so much, why would you continue to deal with them? You obviously have an incredible gift for sales and with that positive outlook on life you possess you should have no problem persuading new customers to use your services.

3) of course we'd love to see your rates, oh wait, we're already your client so we have your rates.

4) What would a credit application tell me about a carrier? The same thing it tells you about a customer:

- For example if I was considering Terra Nova 2 months ago I may have seen that they had stopped paying their bills and their average payment was 120 days. Red Flag.
- I may have called some references to find out they had not paid their bills or their service started great and was no longer as efficient
- I'm sure there is a reason I fill out credit applications over and over again.

Please let me assure you, some freight brokers aren't that bad. Some even pay within 30 days. Some freight brokers even deal with carriers that are grateful for the business that we bring to them. So grateful they take us to lunch, they send gifts at Christmas because after all, we really are the sales reps that they aren't willing to pay for aren't we.

Sorry, I had a crappy day dealing with another carrier who is lying to me over and over about where my freight is. LOL

Psst I am not one of the carriers that lives and dies with the link. I have one load and one truck posted at this present moment and the truck is covered but just looking for next week at it is a steady lane from a direct shipper (no on the road salesman even)

I do not hate freight brokers just the douchebag ones of which if you read all over the fourms there are a bunch of. The good ones call me all the time and really like working with me even

Not sure if we have ever worked together but most people will tell you I do what I say when I say it. Does shit happen yep are we perfect nope. But come hell or high water we give our all to make it happen when and how we said it would.

Small little carrier with over 70% direct customer freight( and still no salesman on the road).

And finally the credit ratings on the link while not 100% sure do tell a lot about brokers as well as carriers.

Not looking for a fight but I hear stupid shit out of brokers and their employees mouths on a daily basis you know shit like,

I have 57,000 lb load to Atlanta for a tridem dryvan can you do it ( usually come attached to a shitty rate) Even though you cannot do it anyway have had them argue they do it all the time.

Or this load loading 850 miles away as a single has to deliver at 6am tomorrow morning and it does not load until 3pm can you do it. (usually attached with a shitty rate)

Can you pull a load from Toronto to Chicago for me for $600 bucks. (said shitty rate before did I not)

Or can you as a carrier fill out a credit app for me so I can pay you?? ( Probably in 90 days as we will not receive your paperwork the first 4 times you send it)

LMAO Sorry but I am having a great day as all my drivers are loaded and paperwork is green lights on dispatch system and all the outside carriers doing loads for me are where they are supposed to be. I could not resist answering because that is just me calling a spade a spade. Have a good day folks boys night tonight so I may be a little slower in the morning buddy just hooked up his new golf simulator.

Excellent response Rob, sorry we got off on the wrong foot (so to speak). I don't believe we have worked with you, but I wouldn't hesitate for sure. I hope your days continue to be smooth and what you do on that simulator transfers over to the course.
