There are two Hot Freights

Do not confuse the Hot Freight Transport, Windsor, ON with Hot Freight International Inc., Mississauga, ON. Hot Freight in Mississauga has NOTHING to do with the company in Windsor!
 
Possible Scammers

Further research into the load they wanted us to move reveled that the shipper was only paying Hot Freight $1,300 US, Hot Freight's load sheet to us was $2,400 CDN. Having been burnt by this type of scam before we turned the load down.

This thread should be bumped daily, so we do not lose sight of this issue.

Our carrier contracted a load from Hot Freight for 3000, but after contacting the shipper, and the initial broker, the freight is only paying 2200.

BEWARE!
 
I recently tendered loads to this company and found out they were double brokering them for more than I was paying, put their funds on hold while I search out the people who actually moved the freight.
 
I have found my 7 of 8 carriers in question on 10 loads.

They cleared on the actual carrier PARS, pasted theirs over, as well as another CC Stamp with agent # on it... hmmmmm.

POD provided by Hot Freight had a stamp which does not exist at my customer... blanked out part of it.

Thanks to the carriers involved, and I am missing one - if anyone knows a Pacific "someone" who did a load for HOT FREIGHT WINDSOR please pm me.

John Tittel and Steve / Hot Freight Mississauga are by no means part of this - and are aware of another issue between the 2 companies....

MTO Carrier Enforcement also notified...

and a few other people along the way..

Oh - and the first call I made - Claudia / Link - who switched them off - and thanks to Clauudia and Victoris for working with me - carrier numbers, helping me until I found my loads.....

We need to protect our industry - we need the bad people weeded out. I just don't know how.... This is a great forum - but can we find some way to get regulated - and I mean truly regulated?
