Help with address -

Double check if you got the load from a broker, we move a lot of loads into Montreal and they are drop trailers. Ste-Foy could be different, it's been a long time since I managed that account I'm no longer familiar with all the ins and outs
This is the address we have in our system:

Google isn't great with postal codes. My home and my place of work were both wrong last I checked.
Perhaps call the consignee as they can tell you where to put your load.

Keep well,
Mike

When this happens, calling is good, but I like to get something in writing either via email or a new confirmation. There have been one or two times where despite me confirming I was still sent the wrong address and having something written helps in the event you have extra charges.

I agree Chica... I always call on the first delivery / pick up because I don't trust broker / customer info.
  • Hours of operation
  • Do you have a dock
  • Can we fit in with a big truck
  • Do we need an appointment
  • anything the driver needs to know before drop off / pick up

this is a great list - I usually call but don;t ask about the dock

We ask about the dock as well, and sometimes they are shocked you are even asking. And about fitting a big truck I have almost NEVER had a shipper or receiver say no to that. Their default answer is "we get them everyday" or "if you have a good driver they can fit". That last one makes me cringe, lol. But, yes, it is good to ask. To me, google maps is a better indicator, though.

The good thing of most brokers is these questions are answered even before a rate is negotiated.
