Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Remember this weekend as we sit with our families in our homes, eating fresh food some locally grown, drinking our favourite white wine and then once most have gone to bed or left for home and we have some time to snuggle with our significant others in front of the fire... We live better than most of the world does. Be thankful for where we live how we live, be thankful for our health and those elders in our families we have left to learn from.

God bless you all, Happy Thanksgiving!!
Mike

Great weekend other than the speeding ticket I got... first one in 25 years. And well deserved. The officer who pulled me over asked me "do you know how fast you were going?". I answered "YES". I guess he was expecting a fight or a sob story as he seemed a little taken aback by my one word answer. And on the plus side.. I drove all the way back from Quebec at 100 km/hr or less and was pleasantly surprised at how little fuel I used...

I usually just cruise @ 120 doing the 401 to/from Montreal. 120 doesn't get you any attention. Problem with running @ 100 or less on the 401 is that it's too lazy ... but agree with you on the fuel mileage, especially if you're driving a car and not a cross-over/SUV/pick-up.

I had a little help with the 100 km/hr... stayed behind a Robert Transport for most of the return trip. I got used to it.. and found it less stressful driving too as I wasn't passing anyone.. drove the wife nuts too.. but I'll take the officer's advice to slow down to heart.
