Does anyone have any recent articles suggesting Grocery DC's need more flexibility on difficult LTL delivery appts or times?

the thread seems to have taken a left turn. I appreciate the opinions and frustrations. They are shared by most. I'm just looking for articles that may help a customer understand the potential challenges.

You can argue with them, try to reason with them, beg them….whatever. As long as there is one, last living and breathing carrier out there who will haul their freight without complaint, you are wasting your time. A lifetime ago, I worked in the Miracle Food Mart warehouse on Rexdale Blvd. in Etobicoke. The grizzled old receivers way back then took a perverse pleasure in making every carrier wait an inordinate amount of time to get unloaded, and that was 40+ years ago. Tormenting carriers is something they all are very experienced in.
