Sometimes things happen for a reason and I am sure the reason will be revealed to me at a later time. Globetrotter Logistics Inc. will shortly be closing their over the road operations.

There have been a lot of factors but none more important than Insurance. Our last day servicing loads will be December 17th 2021.

We are not going bankrupt nor selling but the rumor mill is impossible to stop.

We are closing properly, paying everyone what they have earned, paying our bills and collecting our invoices. We had a lot of ups and downs, handled all that transportation threw our way for the past 22 years and just want to end honorably.

Globetrotter Logistics Inc, myself and my family would like to thank everyone that touched our lives over the past 2 decades. Our drivers and office staff, people we met and interacted with throughout the years had an impact on all of us of, small or large.

I wished to at least leave this Industry in a better shape that I found it back in 1999 when I first started with my first truck. I am sorry that I am not (… at least in my opinion).

I leave everyone with a quote from John Wesley:

“Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, at all the times you can, for all the people you can, for as ever long as you can.”

Signing off on behalf of Globetrotter.

P.S. I would like to make a recommendation.
I recommend every driver and dispatcher that worked here. Every one of them will do your organization proud if you give them the opportunity. Thank you.

Really sad to hear another good carrier shutting their doors.
But I do have to mention, interesting timing.
I am sure Globetrotter ownership will take care of its employees during these difficult times.

Wow, sorry to hear this. Please give our best to Susan. Always was a pleasure to work with you guys.

Good Luck to you... and so proud to be a part of an industry that does good by it's people

Sorry to hear of this news.. Globetrotter has been a great partner for many years. Wishing everyone all the best as they transition to their new adventures.

Has anyone used Globetrotter since this thread has been posted?
I have noticed a # of trucks on the road recently.
I was under the impression they shut down....maybe not!

Volvo has a model called
Globetrotter.. It's a big sign on a sunvisor (part of the roof over the windshield)
Some people think it's a company sign...
Is this a case, eh..?

I've been seeing both trucks and fully decal trailers.
I saw one of their trailers on the 401 yesterday evening.
