Ghost pays very well and the last time was even quicker because they now do direct deposit. As for double brokering, I don't believe that everything is double brokered. Landry just takes everything that he is offered and then deals with it . Google them. They have a huge yard and if you need to get out of Saskatoon, he is the one to call They are your transporter with "SPIRIT" :cool:
 
GHOST definitely DOUBLE Broker. Having said that, they usually pay unless wait time comes up...Then you will have some fun collecting. Make sure extra charges are agreed to before you deliver.
 
Ghost has been around for a long time ... there is probably some double-broker freight there but all? Probably not. I would suspect that when N Yanke shut operations in Saskatoon that some people ended up there.

I am not saying they double broker ALL freight. And i agree they have been around for a while. All i am suggesting is that any additional charges are agreed to in writing. I would say that for any broker/ carrier.
 
More for the benefit of 'accounter' but agree. And nobody, whether broker or direct customer is going to blindly accept accessorial charges on freight unless it's an anticipated charge such as lumpers. Even when a customer accepts that waiting time is normal on certain transactions, a backup statement is expected at the very least.
