DON'T TOUCH GHK !
Do a seach on the forum under Kingston. Same carrier.
They've done a load for me (which I gave them BEFORE looking at this site...) from Montreal to Edmonton. Pickup on Friday Sept 3rd, needed to be at the consignee for Wednesday Sept 8th max.
Said they could do it no problem, even Monday with everything closed. So, I gave it to them.
Traced them on Tuesday, said the driver was on his way.
Traced them on Wednesday, then they said driver went out only on Monday cause of the holiday, will not be there until Thursday night or Friday morning. Lies lies lies.
Traced them on Friday, driver running late once again, delivery Monday morning.
Traced them on Monday, finally delivered, almost one week late, with an angry customer who will not give us more loads for sure.
Guess who's gonna have a cut on their invoice ???
Bad service, bad bad. And I'm not the worst case scenario!!

trust me... I watch this a lot and its saved me a few times from bad carriers, but remembering them all is getting harder and harder....
due diligence.....get a funny feeling - and I ask around here for more info.

They just screwed me over at 2pm on a Friday doing local work. I ignored a few red flags like they're not on Link and they saw my posting on internet truck stop which I'm sure is a lie. They are using a Link accout but wouldn't tell me who so I can block them - and 2nd Marty Chartrand from Titan Transline was a reference and we all know what his word is worth. I tried doing a search prior but nothing came up on GHK, I put the transport in this time.

I did end up already having a load with them when I first posted this and got burned by his lies...He actually had two of my loads and screwed both of them up. Several days of lies and false stories from various dispatchers, not including one dispatcher saying this was normal and it happened all the time. To another dispatch saying everyone there was blaming each other.
Needless to say - they aren't getting paid a single penny! Yes - the old Kingston Transport exists, and yes, they are using link, but not saying under which company name as Kingston and GHK no longer exist. I will try and reach link and see if they can search by phone number so I can block them. This company is a disaster to work with, all double brokering and lots of other scams which are sure to surface in the near future.
I believe they use RBA financial to factor and pay all of their invoices as well.
This is another company that needs to be shut down before costing any more people money!

GHK / Kingston Transport
I used Kingston Transport back in August for a load out of NY to AB. When they arrived at the receiver, my load had shrunk down by 10 feet. No product was missing but they had cross-docked the freight and repiled it to fill every nook and cranny. I assume they added freight to make more money. My customer was livid that they had put freight on the trailer seeing as he paid for exclusive use. I was given a story about a bad trailer and that is why it was cross-docked. I had to make sure they never did another load for my customer. I'm still getting grief about this from him.
I used them once before that and had no problem but they damaged a good relationship I had, luckily it wasn't damaged beyond repair. I promised my customer and myself that I wouldn't use them again.

I am in the midst of a move using GHK but they have a Pickering address. 1/2 load to Calgary already a week late. Some cockamamie story about an O/O's driver taking it to Calgary and then back again without delivering. Very apologetic Thursday, said it would be reshipped, delivery late today or early tomorrow.
Just called for update, now it is Wednesday/Thursday. I don't know if it is the same company but this 1 is definitely on DNU.

When the freight moves within Canada, because it doesn't cross a border there's no way to know for sure if it moved at all. My money says it never did.

Welcome to using GHK !!! You are another one that have had the joy in using them - before going on this website to see what they have done in the past. It also happened to me using GHK!! I now go on this website every day to check on other carriers before I use them!!
