Just wanted to advise everyone to beware of George's truck Repair in Chicago area. He referred our truck to another mechanic in Chicago area to get the job done. The job was only $845, but George tried to wheedle $2700 out of us. After numerous phone calls with him getting hysterical, yelling at us, and threatening to tow our truck (which he couldn't legally do because he didn't do the repair), he first came down to $2500, then $2400, then $1500, and then when we dared him to tow our truck, he finally accepted $1200.
So beware when anyone deals with him
