Great people, great service.
We've hooked up mainly on PA and MA (in/outbound from GTA). Communication with dispatch is well above average (also cell numbers are provided for after hours inquiry).

As a paying broker, GWM Logistics is horrible and doesn't care if you ever use them again if you're not satisfied with their payment terms. I do believe GWM Logistics and George W. McPherson are connected. As a carrier, the latter was good when I used them like a year ago.

As a carrier they're fine. About a year ago they merged with Titan Cartage as well.
It's possible that GWM Logistics is seperated from the trucking side so it's possible maybe they are not so good as a broker ... who knows?

From a payment perspective - we did 1 load with them - 62 days to pay.
Accounts Payable - Elaine - was pleasant to deal with but I did have to make a few calls before getting payment.

Please are you able to add some details to your post? Did GWM do something to you to warrant your allegations?
Did they do something to someone you know?

That is never good news for our industry. More specifically for those carriers that did the actual work.
I recall working with George (Sr I think) as they hauled for us, it's the logistics side (George Jr) that has gone 'missing'?

correct JR (the newest think there is another or just a George?? as there is three son, father, grandfather) youngest skipped and I posted his info as have been connected with him forever on linkedin

Yes there are 3 George McPherson's - Grandpa GW McPherson, the son and GWM Grandson that has disappeared owing lots of money around the industry.
George and GW as trucking companies have both done work for me and never had an issue with either one. GWM was always slow but I did get paid but we had put him on last resort use before he skipped and he did not owe us any money when he skipped.
