Has anyone recently dealt with Galaxy Freight? We experienced several double brokerage issues about 2 years ago.

Not sure if its a person issue or company issue. Although I cannot provide you with a response you are seeking, we have some dispatchers at our office that use them and do not have issues and the other half of the office who will never hire them on a load due to the lack of service. Hope you get a better response from the next user.

We use them a lot. Never had a problem with them. We deal with Ed (western dispatch.)

We had a terrible experience with them.

Picked up an order for us. Held it at there dock (hostage) demanding we pay them first before they deliver the freight. We ended up having to pick up the order from their dock in order to deliver on time.
To make matters worse, they then billed us for picking up the freight and holding it on their dock.

Will never use them again.

They are now on our DNU list.

Ed has handled 2 shipments for us in August this year. Both on time and he has extended us credit for our account. We've been a happy customer for several years. I do wonder if these other instances are isolated and out of the norm. Ed, good for you for stepping up and asking people to call you to remedy any issues they may have.

Service is always an issue; false updates most frequently. I've heard from others of problems with double brokering, but I've never experienced that.

Anyways they are not on my DNU, but only use them when no other options.

Galaxy has done some excellent work for us and as well has done some brutal work for us. In and out of penalty box a few times currently in it.

We ended up trying them. So far so good.

I've used Galaxy several times over the past few years. Never a single issue.
