Took an ltl shipment from me on Friday from Toronto to Calgary and said the truck was 20 mins away from pick-up at time of booking which turned out to be two hours and 20 mins but that was ok the shipper was open late. When I traced it just now it's still sitting on the carriers dock. Excuse is it made the truck over weight (2 skid spots 3000#) I don't buy it and they knew the weight when they booked it. It goes without saying they didn't call and let me know so I could find someone else. Glad I traced it :-(
The guy who booked it Anthony can't be found today and it seems like he quit or was let go over the weekend but I can't get a straight answer.

I would tell them you need to get this there for Friday and sent someone in to pick it up off of his dock. At least it's out of there hands.

Anthony is still there or back. I should have checked here first, but booked one pallet out of Winnipeg last Thursday to Drummondville, PQ. He told me it would deliver Monday afternoon.

After more than enough excuses, the freight still has not arrived! Grrrrrrr

I had horrible experiences with Galaxy. I used them for two shipments and both shipments were late, and it was excuse after excuse.. definitely on my DNU

seven shipments since June in our system, one late and they worked with us so we could give customer discount.
