Full truckload carrier to Idaho?

FYI - We run out that way weekly, but no power left today to deliver a TL next week at present out there

Capacity at month end is going to be tight.

If customer is okay look at rail options.

You may be having a hard time finding someone to go out that way because the rates going out that way suck and it takes about a week to find a load home. AND you need to do at the least one day dead head to get to the return and those return rates are dropping also. Those of us who dare go that way are about to pay out of pocket in order to do so... BROKERS, PLEASE STOP CUTTING THE RATES JUST TO GET THE CUSTOMER we can't afford it any more...

I would just book a TL CA or WA carrier, depending on where in Idaho.
the problem is Transaction, the rates to go AND come back from that area are being brutally CHOPPED I actually think that they are offering us less than what is paid by rail. We do a load out of ID back to Montreal. When we first began we got $4900 then it changed hands and we got $4600 then the company who gave it to us told us the next time we wanted it, Well if we want to keep it you'll have to do come down to $4400. Last time, they told us that the customer's goal rate was $3900. We ended up getting $4000. The only thing is, now another freight broker was posting it last week and, at $4000 we were MUCH TO EXPENSIVE... Please don't talk about fuel being cheaper... with the 30% exchange rate, fuel is in no way cheaper... and fuel taxes have gone up too... The only thing that is going down these days are the rates.

Try Werner or one of the other big American TLs . They don't have to load back to Canada.
