Hello all,
Has anyone else been receiving emails from Freightfriend? It appears to be some type of load board or something.
Has anyone tried it out?

This is the email I received this morning:
Get Offered Freight You Really Want from Companies You Want to Work With
Updating the lanes you are typically looking for will tell your logistics friends where YOU want to go. Then they will offer you freight you really want, and FreightFriend will show you freight matches you can really use.
Tip to Get Quality Freight
Update your lanes with actual city level origins AND destinations of loads you could use weekly or more to help balance your network. Posting lanes like Chicago to Anywhere just generate excessive matches.

WHAT IS FREIGHTFRIEND?
FreightFriend is a relationships-based Load and Truck posting service that combines the technology and efficiency of public load boards with the privacy of phone or email. To learn more about FreightFriend and all our logistics clients you can friend visit www.freightfriend.com. If you have questions, contact support@freightfriend.com.

That would make the junk mail folder pretty quickly if it got by our spam filter in the first place.

I took a look at their website and looks like it is built on a newer platform however seems pretty similar to the link. Their differentiating focus seems to be that you build private "friend" networks with your preferred carriers but you can do this on the link I think? I've always said that trying to compete with the Link is a slippery slope. Link has the members so it's very difficult to say "hey, we know you are busy, why don't you try this method now." Then when you do, there are either no matches or only a handful.
