Had a stupid day Friday
Gave some freight to Rush Couriers 10/15/09. They had to p/u 1 skid 0800 hrs and deliver sameday to Michigan 10/16/2009. Rush double brokered the load to a company called Ace J/Jenny who grabbed the freight and held it hostage because Rush owed them $3500.00.
All settled now. Finally delivered this morning, but both companies were totally out of line and unreasonable in dealing with this. Ace J stole my freight. Finally had to threaten to call the cops and report them to load link.
Rush Couriers sat back with their tail between their legs and let us sort it out. They were reported to link for double brokering.

Ace J / Fastload : re Not trustworthy/ Steal freight from people not involved. Charged us double what Rush contracted them for..in cash...on Friday night. Only reason we payed was to save our client.

Rush Courier in Concord is famous. Even the guy who runs the GPSnet/Shaw Alliance satellite service made the distinction at a conference a few months ago so people would not get confused with another more reputable expedite company in the U.S. called Rush. That's how those guys are.

To boot, Rush is conditional CVOR so the safety rating sucks and that's always an excellent indicator of everything else about a company: if your safety rating sucks, you probably are scrimping on more than just safety too.

Block them out and spread the word.

seeing as you mentioned the other Rush.. I have to say Yep... Rush Expediting in Dayton,Ohio is an awesome carrier

Does anyone still take freight from Rush? and why are they still on Link? They are lying crooks over there, and are using the Link to scam people. I have reported them but by the sounds of things from Link they will not kick them off for anything. At one time I thought Link was a company with some morals. Guess it's all about the $$$ now, as long as they get their bill paid they are more than happy to aid Rush in their criminal activity.
 
I agree about your link comments. For the money they rake in you would think they could hire one person to monitor the crooks on their system. I can't wait for someone to take a big loss and take link to court.
Having said that link contacted me yesterday to see if rush had paid their bill to me from July (they havn't) so link may be getting off their ass on this one I guess finally enough complaints have came in.
 
Bargainbuyers, Did you report them? They owe me for a load I did for them in June and are not paying, This is the story we get from Ron (Who supposedly is one of the owners??) I sent out acheque for you 2 weeks ago, I will put stop payment on that cheque and mail a new one.. Same story for 4 months now.
