I agree they are the lowest of the low in prices but, what else happened?
For me I once recall someone there called me on a load, I said yes to everything even the price they threw out. He said okay great. I waited no confirmation I emailed him. He said the load is available and gave a price that was $100 lower, I said I booked this load with you already, emailed again later on if things were a go. Apparently pick up was moved 3-4 days later he asked if I have capacity then I said yes. He said he will keep me posted once customer confirms. Never heard from him again. If you book with Fortus you might as well keep looking for something else, they certainly will. (sorry my info isn't relevant to this forum technically 'non-paying').

I have moved some freight for Fortus Group but haven't used them since April 2022. We have had no exceptional issues with payment - a bit slower than I had liked but similar to some others in the industry. We had one instance where we waited all day to have the trailer unloaded and we were paid detention time. Once again, not enough for what we would like to see but it was agreed to and paid.
Although situations may change over time, there is nothing that would stop me from using them again if the price was right.

I wanted to check if there are any updates regarding Fortus group out of Brossard Montreal as we’ve noticed some inconsistencies with their bookings. They keep reserving our truck but then cancel because their customer isn’t ready. However, they continue reposting the load on Loadlink and then attempt to rebook with us at a lower rate.

There was another thread with another broker doing the same thing.
Outbound right now is hot, people are getting paid. These brokers will have contract rates and now that all their cheap regulars are raising rates, they are booking and looking.
