FLS Transportation out of Montreal

I'm sure there's a thread already out there for these guys search leaves me no option but to start a new one..

We always had average pay trend of 50 days with them and recent months can't get a cheque and/or answer out of their AP. Lots of invoices over 80-90 days now. Anybody else has issues like this?

Thanks

FLS is on our DNU list.
However the dispatcher gets desperate and takes a load once in a while.
The office in Montreal is difficult to deal with. Promises, cheques sent not arriving, not getting invoices, every excuse in the book just to hold payment for 60 or more days.
Now we have FLS in Oakville, which the Montreal office does the A/P, same song n dance.
As of December we registered as a Quick Pay Carrier for direct deposit, we hope this will dramatically improve their past payment history.

Their main A/P contact I had been dealing with - Christina - is no longer with the company. All the emails I was sending her - were going nowhere....no bounce back - no automated reply advising she was no longer at FLS.

They have a new controller - Roberto - rmazzone@flstransport.com

He has assisted me with a few account issues and was pleasant to deal with.

Roberto is not much better either. We have 2 invoices over 70 days and some are paid with in 30 days too. After sending many emails to Christina and no reply (found from thread that she is no longer there) I sent an email to Roberto but no reply. Week and a half later I call and talk to Roberto, he said he will find my email and reply to all my concerns.

It's been over week again but have not heard back from Mr. Roberto.

Sometimes, when circumstances dictate, do not be afraid to call the CFO.
In this case FLS, the CFO is Nick Gerasinow, Montreal 1-800-739-0939.

Our relationship with FLS has changed, now that we are Quick Pay and Direct Deposit.

Feb 13th invoice - payment deposited Feb 15th.

They have come a long way, as they were on our DNU list.

I have one invoice from FLS from Oct 18 for $50.....
Still unpaid after 3 times sending the invoice by email and numerous calls.
By the way the $50 was for a truck ordered and not used. When my driver arrived at the shipper's to pick up he was told by the shipper that he was the THIRD truck sent in by FLS that day to pick up the same load. Not sure how that happens...but there's no way I'm going to forget about my 50 bucks!

so they take forever to pay if you are not getting quick pay? So one by one you will all sign up for this option and they will save 5%. Once again we get screwed...(oops sorry)

One of their reps is trying very hard at one of our accounts...the whole pitch is "we will be cheaper". Nice...Great work FLS.......

Do they even have trucks anymore or have they gone the Krystal Rockman route of trucking?

My brother took a load from them with the quick pay option. But they where hard up and added the quick pay % to the rate so we would take the load and get paid ontime and for what we wanted.

It is outstanding on the AR so I guess we will see as he was the one that put them on DNU for slow paying in the first place.

They don't run trucks under the FLS name anymore but Keltic is owned by them. They don't necessarily make that public knowledge though.

Which Keltic? The one from NB is a family owned company isn't it? I don't think FLS owns them?

FLS does NOT own Keltic Transportation. This information is false.

FLS has subsidiaries in the U.S. and branches both international and domestic.

Nowhere in their Corporate linkage does it mention any other company owned or affiliated.
