Have 11 feet and 13000 pounds of room on front deck of step going to FLA via Alabama. Truck is in Brampton today.

I cannot believe how bad outbound deck is right now. All winter landstar board showed 5000-6000 loads with about 25 out of Ontario. Right now they are at 10200 loads, with 19 out of Ontario. Who's economy is hurting?

USD is almost at $1.02 now, so its gonna get better soon we hope!

p.s. if the US has a bad economy, ours is worse (in transport)

Thats for sure. Landstar's load count has doubled, but their Ont outbound has reduced.
I just had a US broker try to get me take another lane, 11 feet for 1000 miles, for 425.00. Divide and multiply the footage, and he is generously offering 1.85/mi for LTL open deck. woo hoo. to an area not known for inbound.

My mom said there would be days like this. I might go back at 300.00 just to ensure I get it.
