FIFA 2026 - Toronto

Its actually pretty easy to quote properly given the correct setup.

sample of some of the requirements.

rate for 8 hour shift for 53'
rate for 8 hour shift for straights with tailgates.
rate for 8 hour shift for minivan or cargo van
rate for temp storage for pallets, rate per pallet
pre-match/post-march urine samples for each player delivered to a lab.
etc.... the need for transportation is ever present in large events like this.

GTA work only, max 150km per day approx.
They asked that fuel be ++ at the 2026 fuel rate.
apparently expecting 2 shifts of drivers for a total of 16 hours per day.

there is also a forwarding component, air freight inbound/outbound, ocean inbound/outbound, customs clearance services etc.... but that stuff isn't up our alley.

I agree its a little odd to commit to a rate for 2026 at this time, but with it being +FSC, our main concern is addressed. We aren't a low ball carrier, and we will be around in 2026!

Also pretty sure this RFP was invite only from what I'm hearing from others who received it, so I'm not sure how many low ball carriers will have access to this.

We did the Pan-Am games, hence how we came on their radar.

2026 quotes? Little early? I get they want their ducks in a row but quoting a rate for two years out I would be giving the I don't really want to do it rate and if they bite they bite.
They bite more often that not we find :) Its always a nice reward. It seems that when we bid on a RFP and sharpen the pencil that extra little bit, we miss out on pricing... but those "go away rates" seem to work more often than they don't. Ya I don't get it.

I think you are giving the goverment way to much credit in thinking they know what is needed for this project. Plus this is already been contracted to a pizza joint on college St that has no clue for $950000000000. :):):):)
