What are the facts about ELD for Canada please help clear up

He's right ... nothing is carved in stone yet, but you can pretty much bet it will be a mirror image of the U.S. but with Canadian HoS.

There are no different rules and regulations vis-a-vis hours of service. The new thing is just an upgraded way of recording your hours of service.

Talk is all Canada 2021, I say "Talk" because as usually it could change

It's a federal rule. It will be Canada wide.
