Everest Freight Non Payers and Double Brokers

Everest Freight have run a bill up and then disappeared. I am finding what they are doing is lying about the dimensions and weight to get a low rate and then when we o to pick up surprise surprise its a full load not a half a load. And when I start going back to the shippers its a double brokered load. When we try and get corrected paperwork and money they stop using and paying. STAY AWAY!!!!!
 
We did a load for them, and for whatever reason, they took 1000$ off the original invoice. We tried to call them and they weren't able to provide answers.

Guess who got cut back 1000$ on their payment when, one year after, they moved a load for us?? :p

Good Job, I would have deducted more for the hassle and late payment. they held my freight hostage double brokered it to multiline.

Just a reminder to everybody these guys are crooks and have screwed us on a few invoices (promised miss picks, misdeliveries, extra miles not paid short paid etc.). On top of things every invoice takes over 90 days to get paid. Can't wait to get another load from these crooks

No addresses or phone numbers. Is this the same as Everest Transportation in Mississauga?
 
Yes, these guys are one of the worst brokers I have ever dealt with. Double brokered an expedite, I guess to which they committed a team to. The original broker called and asked where the freight was (shipper got our name off the side of the truck), and asked why it was so late. Called the guy at Everest and asked him what was going on, he just didn’t seem to care so cut him out and resolved the issue with the original third party. But, the best part was his response to me, “this is why I drive a Porsche and you drive a piece of shit.”

End of my rant, bottom line don’t deal with this guy and he will have to find another line of business to keep his Porsche.
 
I remember a few months these guys called us up and asked for 'sales'. Wanted me to quote on a couple of lanes and I told them they are lanes we'd broker. They said 'that's OK, we can do that'. I let them recite the information, answered 'uh-huh, uh-huh' and filed it under G for garbage when I hung up with them.

Unbelievable.

Put Airgoup down for taking loads from Naz that where double brokered and of course double the skids.

Best part - their opening up an office in B.C. Would love to get a list of customers and have everyone call them the same day.

We need to put brokers like this out of business - alot of small companies are being burnt and some people can't take a $5000.00 hit.

Worst company I have ever had to deal with, they ignore your calls, give you the run around, LIE about everything that comes out of their mouth, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Everest Freight and UBT are in cahoots and are holding freight for Ransom for each other. Do not work with either company!!! Bunch of crooks!!!
 
New company on Link...Everest International...2013 startup date on Equifax, no D&B info...no officer listed....different address from the other everests...hmmm.
If it is a separate company, they sure didn't do their homework on name research...and offering up step/lowboy loads, same as the other.

its the same company Everest freight Tom McCarthy runs the international division.....stay far away from him he is worse!! then the owners

they are the worst brokerage freight brokerage in montreal up there in the ranks of Rockman transport and look what happened to them.


that reminds me another Jack poped up....caution!!!!!!!! TD logistics.....they have the old rockman office caution caution beware
owners name i think is James, but watch out for a guy named Chris!
 
Thank you for all the information you have provided. It is sad they owes three invoices and they are running at 200 days and told us cheque was mailed in December. Ya right.

Very bad to deal with and would suggest everyone contact their customers.
 
Everest International is linked with Everest Freight / so stay away / They double-brokered 2 of our loads in December and we were able to trace all the carriers that they used to redistribute our freight and get them to send us the POD's and copy of their load confirmations from Everest Freight & Logistics / Some carriers refused to cooperate and preferred to remain with Everest and have signed off a release form to that effect / We are proud to state that all the carriers involved were paid by our Company
Long story short, we are the ones that mostly got Everest out of the circuit by discovering their scam.
I am sure they will pop up again so be very careful

If anyone can get more info on TD Logistics I would appreciate this
