Elog Failure

Forgive me if this has already been answered, my search yielded no results.

What happens if the Elog console for some reason fails?

Does the driver have to revert back to paper logs until they return to their home terminal?

Yes, driver must retain enough log pages to be able to reproduce his/her last 14 in the USA or 7 plus current if the unit fails. However usually the office can fax or email the pages up until the time of failure.
