ELD any true facts out there if it is coming to Canada as manditory requirements?

Ideas of ELD seem to be all over the place of when and if coming to Canada and every province
Anyone have facts on this??
 
I dont have any time facts, but it is only a matter of time until ELD comes to Canada. Very certain about that. Best to look into ELDs now so when they do come to pass, you are ready.
 
There is still no set ELD rule that has been published on behalf of the Canadian government. Hopefully they will get something put together so everyone can get everything in place. My last chat with the MTO brought up the discussion of ELD - they are equally frustrated that nothing concrete has been solidified yet because they are tripping over all the different types of ELD's and functionality.
