Just wondering if anyone has any info on this company out of Concord ON.
I'm thinking of giving them some LTL freight back to MTL.
thank you.

They had a rush shipment to pickup first thing this morning, delivery same day to Monroe, MI. Pickup time was 7am this morning. We called them at 9h30 only to know that the driver is sick and he's still on his bed. They don't have anybody else, so they cancelled the load then...
Do you think they are now on my DNU list ?
Like I always says : everybody can screwup and make mistake, we're only human... but PLEASE advise your customer. I don't understand the carrier who do not call their customer when something like that happens...

They fly off the seat of their pants - book, book, book and then figure out if you have enough. Not the way to work, they arent a bad carrier. they just need to change somethings.

Anyone with updated service feedback regarding their flatbed division?

thanks

On my DNU list.....shipped with, won't again.....would rather let the freight not move than load their equipment

I was stuck a few months ago. I'm not sure how they got unblocked on my loadlink, but they did. It was Friday afternoon and an old customer called desperate for help moving a load that a carrier or broker had bailed on. I told him I'd post it and advise. These guys were the only ones that called. I asked over and over if it was there truck... I even told them that I'd caught them double brokering our freight previous. I told them that I would have the shipper take a photo of the door of the truck and Email it to me before he loaded. They swore... it was their truck.

It was their truck. Paperwork matched. Load was picked up when promised. Truck was in my customers door at 6:00 AM Monday morning when they opened up.

I'm not saying that their house is completely in order now... because I just don't know that.

But... I gave them a second chance (OK... in desperation on my part)... they redeemed themselves.

One load does not make a firm relationship between carrier and broker... but it's a start.
