Does anyone have any experience with Dynevor Express (2010) Ltd. - formerly CANN AMM LOGISTICS & LEASING INC. as a carrier?

We used them over 70 times last year. I deal with Roger on a regular basis. Always done great work for us.

I sent them a confirmation late on Friday afternoon. This was after they explained to me how their recent move has things in a bit of confused state, after I questioned them about the 3 different addresses on their authorities and insurance. They did check out OK on Safer, and with their CVOR.

I had to speak with them this morning regarding a change in the loading time, and none of the phone numbers they supplied were in service. I eventually did get a number to contact them, and was told no one there knew anything about this shipment, and wait until after 09:00 and maybe a dispatcher named Hakim would be able to shed some light on this. I haven't heard from them as yet, and as this is loading today at 11:30, I felt I had no confidence in Dynevor and canceled the confirmation in favor of another carrier.

Perhaps when things get settled with them after their move, and their internal communications improve we can do some business together.

Well stated Activet. Many times we hear simple bad comments. You provided an explanation of the events in a fair manner and show that you accept difficulties in this industry. I haven't had any dealing with Dynevor but I don't view your comment as a "Stay away" comment, more informational. Thank you for your honesty.

I've just had a lengthy conversation with Raj at Dynevor. I've know him personally for a number of years (a good man), and didn't realize he's working there now. As it turns out, they are having a rather difficult time with a location move, and do understand why I had to cancel. With the comments here, and a fairly good rating on Safer, I will contract with them when another opportunity arises.

we use Dynevor quite a bit.. excellent carrier.

they did have some issues with their move and their phone # changed.....

I would definately recommend them,
 
Moving

We had a similar issue last year when we moved across the street. Bell canada screwed up during our move and had trouble with some switches.
Bell moved all our lines and there were apparently not enough switches alloted to the new building.
It took two working days to fix. We operated of one cell phone to which the lines were tranfered, hence we could only answer one call at a time.
A real nightmare!!!
 
Good to hear. Often when we don't get an answer it is because of bad news. If anyone knows how to contact them in the interm please let me know!
 
On my DNU

Booked a load with us thursday afternoon for Friday. We sent over the dispatch and confirmed. Then Friday we sent over the customs paperwork in advance. Come Monday they have no record of the shipment or of us, end result it was never picked up. DNU
 
We actually ended up giving them a couple loads now and the service was decent. I found dealing with Raj resulted in a better experience.

They did a load for me last week. They did pick up and delivered on time but they scared me the whole way. They were hard to get a hold of for an update and when you did reach them, they were not happy to help.

Long story short - though the load did pick up and deliver on time - I will be cautious using them in the future though.

I will only use them if we are stuck. Terrible tracing, on hold for 10 minutes at a time and trying to tell me that the truck is at the shippers dock when I have the shipper on the other line saying "no truck here"
Proceed with caution....
 
I agree. I may have an earlier reply on here saying they're great. But actually, the info we get from them is spotty. It makes me nervous to see them on freight of mine that is sensitive.

However, if you find there is something that works to use them often on, my advice is get their sales rep to come in to see you. You'll get a different level of service if you do so.
 
Not worth dealing with in our opinion. Don't pick-up when scheduled, lie about the late pick-up, terrible communication, and then use the famous line "what did you expect, it is only LTL." Deleted from our database as of today.
 
Stopped using this company since Jude arrived. DNU eversince, Jude would call customers and attempt to backsolicit.
