Driver Service Experience Feedback

Hello all,

I am looking for some feedback on using a driver service. I recruit for an asset based carrier and have never used a service for drivers before. I am wondering what the rates are like? How does the WSIB responsibility work, would an injured worker from a driver service fall under our account? Do you find these individuals to be well qualified? How readily are they available? Do you have to commit to a certain number of hours per week?

Any input would be appreciated.

We have tried it in the past and found it to be cost prohibitive and then a lot of headaches. We were offered to pay a number of different options, with WSIB or without, etc. After getting setup the driver service could not find drivers willing to cross border so the idea died on the vine.
