Double Broker Scam

Asking for some input on how we can collect funds from a load that was double brokered. We put the VIJ LDH Transport in collections last year but haven't been able to collect funds. The broker is not responding to us anymore and had promised us payment...but now it's crickets. The broker let it slip that they have paid the other carriers that VIJ LDH scammed except us. It was a Sobey's load and they are not responding further only stating to leave them out of the email chain. Broker claims they sued VIJ LDH but at this point I think it is just talk to drag us along into thinking we will get paid. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
 
Contact an experienced transportation para legal, such as Scam Chaser who is a member of this site. Every entity who is a party to this transaction should be served with a legal notice of non payment. Get some professional advice.
