Disposal of Material

Hello all,

Does anyone know of a company that handles the disposal of material besides Clean Harbor?
We have a situation where we need to destroy some freight (contaminated food product) near Regina, SK on our client's instructions.

We dealt with this same problem last year and the rate has now doubled to have the material destroyed.
In the end we will pass the charges along to the client, but 10k seems high to transport some material to a Landfill and issue a letter of destruction saying the freight was brought to a Landfill.

Any Help / Advice would be appreciated

If it's food product look for a rendering company in the area. I got rid of a spoiled load of turkey that way in Edmonton once upon a time.

We take it on our own truck to the local garbage company and they dispose of it and give us a letter of destruction, no where close to 10K, I think we are around $1500 to $2000. I know we have a few more choices in the GTA than in Regina but for 10K you could ship it back to the GTA and get it destroyed here.

Depending on they type of food stock it is a large hog farmer may be your best friend.....
