Job Description:
Assemble and dispatch loads for cross-border shipments
Monitor drivers and loads to ensure on-time pick-up and delivery
Assist drivers with customs and emergency situations
Provide customers with professional and timely support
Share on-call duties with other dispatchers
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Specific responsibilities include:
Negotiating rates for equipment, LTL, and FTL shipments
Managing freight, equipment and drivers efficiently to maximize revenue
Dispatching freight to company drivers and outside carriers
Qualifications:
1-3 years’ experience in dispatching
Professional telephone manner
Excellent customer service skills
Strong computer skills
Excellent organizational skills
