Dispatch Mate

We are having it installed tomorow. Giving back link's ltl dispatch, it does not work well and they still cannot get it to print a bill of lading. All this for the last two years!!!
 
Funny Alx....you just reminded me I have an open ticket with Link for the same issue! "We'll get right back to you Mr. Customer"....hahaha...two weeks later and nothing!

We have been using it for the past few years and it works great for our brokerage operation. Accounting likes it because an order only has to be entered once and the info exports to their program. Dispatch loves it because they can easily look-up past orders and rates. For management, the ability to retrieve revenue and margin in a variety of formats is very useful. Although we don't use the carrier part, it appears to have lots of useful information.
I would recommend it.

Link dispatch has several logistical issues.
The biggest flaw is that the program works on regions and has an insurmountable glitch.

An inbound load that goes outside your terminals region becomes an outbound load, even though it is an inbound for you.
example :
ltl from charlotte to montreal is ok, inbound from charlotte to cornwall ON is not , ( another zone) this becomes an outbound!!

The big problem happens when the inbound trailer is docked, this ltl to Cornwall now goes back to an available outbound, even though it was just docked.
You cannot put this freight on a city manifest.

Not possible for larger company to operate this way.
