So I finally received payment from their owner who seemed polite but certainly playing ignorant to the whole situation at the end. I had to book another load with them and then hold it and threaten to call the receiver and consignee that the broker wasn't paying us this load and that . I also refused to complete the delivery until I had money wired into my bank account for both shipments(the one outstanding from Oct. 2017 and this one I took now).

I don't like resorting to these types of means to receive payment but I just want to make sure I'm paid at the end of the day and we pay our drivers regardless whether we receive payment or not. We were calling this company 2-3 times a week for half a year and were fed excuse after excuse. In the end the money was wired into my account last Friday and now Delta Logistics is now on my blacklist forever. If my input can prevent another carrier from getting swindled by these guys or provide some insight as to how to recover payment I'm happy to comment.

Completely brutal that you had to go through that.
Soon enough they won’t have any carrriers left.

Just reaching to see if maybe someone hauled this for them without our authorization.

Finally. got my chk. just had to show up at their office. and after couple days got the chk.

We did hauled from Channahon a few times for Delta Logistics... never got payed. Over 90 days now
 
I see they showed up on EQUIFAX this morning being sued for $746,901.00 in overdue rent!!!
 
So, I heard the owner (Phil DeFazio and Graziano Cunsolo) tried to bankrupt the company and reopen under a new name, but were locked out of the company by their new partner.
I now hear that they are trying to do business again under Delta Logistics Group, and take back their old lease at 909 Upton in LaSalle.
Beware people. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They will do whatever they can not to pay you

if I remember guys, i saw their name going by as they filed for protection against creditors a couple weeks ago. All should have received proper documentation by now. Sorry to say this.
 
Does anyone have any news about Defazio? I am sure I recognized him (dealing with Transroyal Logistics in Lasalle). Just fearing to be robbed again.
