No idea how they are as a shipper but an interesting reference to a 2007 patent infringement lawsuit against them came up:

Something to do with Pactiv suing Cube Plastics and another company for patent infringement ...... just use the "find" tool in your browser and search for "cube". Could be a possible red flag that could possibly indicate ongoing/future legal issues....

Good afternoon, we were one of the major incumbents for Cube up until this winter. We had huge collections issues and had no other recourse but to suspend service until they paid in full. We were carrying close to $100000 which was 90 days past due. Getting paid was a challenge and huge strain on our resources. After finally getting paid, we commenced service again to a much smaller extent but have since ceased doing business with them. They constantly juggle shipping schedules, send carriers away as product not ready, tighten up delivery windows after the fact. Just a complete "gong show". As a 3PL it was ruining our credibility with our partner carriers. Enough was enough. I can email you more details if you want to discuss aside?
