Do not haul for these scumbags. They will find every excuse to not pay you. They will not pay any waiting time at shipper even if it takes 15 hours and will deduct hundreds if you are an hour late. They will not answer the phone once you are loaded after 15 hours at the shipper. They will promise you waiting time - but there won't be any paid.

Then after delivery - They deduct for shortages - which would be impossible for the driver to have found out when there are 1900 cases loaded on the truck. 5 cases could cost you 500.

So, not happy with these idiots and their way of running a brokerage.

Well, smoothoper, I feel sorry for all your negative experiences..
But, do you mind to share good ones as well..

Hauled a load of potatoes. The dispatcher said its a flat rate - and not paid by the 100 wt... When we invoiced him - He said it was by the 100wt - I lost 350.00$.
Always an issue with Potatoes and Onions.

Remember, if you're hauling produce, the FMCSA bond is not valid and any claims made against it will not be honored. I learned this the hard way when we did a number of produce loads and the broker skipped on all invoices.

Best to be paid up front or on delivery when it comes to produce - especially when dealing with someone you don't know.
