C&J Freight Management is chasing CMX Motor Xpress for outstanding freight bills totaling $26,500.00.

These loads took place in January 2011 - CMX was quick paid within days after delivery & these guys continue to play games. To date these invoices are still not paid.

Is there anyone else in the industry experiencing this same nonsense from CMX? Please advise immediately - I can be reached at 1-888-634-5251.

Beware of their cheques; they tend to bounce as well. It took over a year, but we were finally paid with the help of a collection agency. Also, tack on the bank charges for the bounced cheques

Do a search on CMX, but make sure you have at least a half hour to spare(Should be quite a bit of info). Your also not going to like what you read. It's really hard to believe that these clowns are still around.

Well, the cheque I got was good...

It just took me 4 months to get it!

This was in 2009 and we have stayed away from them since.

Don't let it drag on too long. File with small claims court.

and report to link
Do you know anybody else in the industry that currently is having problems with these guys?

Sad part the Load link and Internet Truck Stop has had knowledge in terms of how CMX pays their brokered freight bills but yet continues to exposed these guys on their sites.

If Link gets enough reports about a company not paying they will remove them from their site. Issue is people have to report them. Sorry I forgot who it is there but I'm sure one of the other members has it.

Or if you search CMX I'm sure it's on one of the older threads about them.

We have sent complaints with numerous updates weekly to Load link and Internet Truck Stop. What gets me is that both sites know these guys are nothing but bad news and still have them active on their sites...their privileges should be REVOKED!

What's their credit score don't deal with anybody thats less than a 65 or prepare to wait, get cash up front on suspected slow payers but above all avoid CMX

Internet Truck Stop advised they have CMX Motor Xpress brokerage business operating under MC #437485. They also indicated that the brokerage was out of business. However they still allow CMX to operate on the carrier side of the site under MC #299659. This makes no sense what so ever.

CMX brokerage MC #437485 should have no such account. They have not had an authority in years. Why is the Internet Truck Stop monitoring a company out of business and has no authority and not legitimate? Internet Truck Stop should focus on CMX MC #299659 - that company is legitimate as far as the authority.

CMX MC # 299659 is the only company on the legitimate side that the Internet Truck Stop and any other trucking resources should focus on.

I have no clue as to why Load Link and the Internet Truck Stop are so ignorant when it comes to CMX not revoking their priviledges forever...are they that money hungry? Bad people like CMX ought to be banned from hwys in Canada etc. for double brokering loads and not paying the small truckers who pulled their loads.

Why is it that the Load Link and Internet Truck Stop do not listen to truckers who have been hurt financially by CMX...they do not care so why should CMX care.

Load Link and Internet Truck Stop do your due diligence and take CMX off your sites once and for all!!!

LKPLTD, this site is to inform other people and not to bash any other company. If you have a problem with Load Link or any other provider, then I suggest you deal with them and not bash them on this site.

It is not fair to them, nor is it fair to anyone who is using them and having no problems.

You suggested Load Link and I was giving feed back about my months of dealings with them.

I apologize to you and the Inside Transport.

Drew from cmx motor xpress does not pay o/o or carriers...pls stay away from this guy, he will not pay you.

They may have a D&B Paydex of 69 (as of today's date) but their current TRADE PAYMENTS are reflecting 120 days to pay.

This has been since February. The owed amounts are likely small - $500/$600 here and there - so their Paydex hasn't dropped. They don't have alot of payment experiences reported either - so that is keeping them looking "favorable". I'm sure I'll receive a D&B daily alert on them soon - their Paydex will go right down. I've seen ones drop from the 70's to the 40's.

As long as CMX is paying their Link account and no one is reporting them to Link complaints - they will keep operating - business as usual.

Rumour has it that CMX has filed for bankrupcy. Had a former O/O apply for a job with our company, his abstract wasn't much to look at with a list of mechanical deficiencies on the CVOR report, told him to find another industry to work in. Just hope that Don & Drew can find a different industry to work in as well
