For those on the east coast and not following the ongoing saga of hitting bridges in metro Vancouver -- BC has recorded 16 similar overpass strikes in 2023.

This is the sixth time that Chohan has hit an overpass in two years

According to the province’s “Commercial Vehicle Bridge/Overpass Crash” report, Chohan Freight Forwarders Ltd. had other incidents on: June 6, 2022 on Highway 1 in Langley; June 1, 2022 on Highway 1 in Richmond; Feb. 17, 2022 on Highway 99 in Delta (the same over pass as Dec. 28, 2023); Feb. 12, 2022 on Highway 1 in Langley; and Dec. 10, 2021 on Highway 1 in Surrey.

Anyone at this company heard about tape measures? Cant believe we used to use these guys on a regular basis, nothing oversize though, thankfully.

Looks like a very specialized transport company, eh..

It's only a matter of time before they.... bridge that gap.

When Chohan was questioned further about the bridges - he didn't duck but rather met the challenge head-on.
Just got back from BC and Chohan trucks running around everywhere with AB tin on the bumpers.
What a crock of BS this is.

That is correct ...

B.C. trucking company involved in overpass strike denies skirting licence suspension

Carly Hunter, director for the B.C.-based company, told Global News the vehicles are operated by a separate company owned by a relative in Alberta.

“They are a separate entity altogether with Alberta jurisdiction,”.
