I have not done a load out of Alberta in a long time, but to me its sound really cheap am I missing something?

I was offered a weekly run from edmonton, ab to tolleson, az for $2500 on 1881 miles. How can anyone do that at 1.33 per mile.

It actually sounds all right. If anything, it may be a bit above average actually.

Rates out of Edmonton in particular are brutal -- it's like a black hole. But we generally are able to get the money we need to go there.

What sucks is that there is money out there...when I go out with a flatbed to Sask...hay is everywhere...at 1.50 - 1.90 per mile. Did a little digging, found a guy at a buck more, and COD. On hay at least, the brokers are making a killing.

took 215 days to get paid the last one, stopped hay all together!

6 loads, quickest payout was 84 days!!!

If anyone here wants the load from Edmonton to Nogales, AZ for pick up today paying $2500 - PM me and I will give you the shippers details.

They pay COD - as a broker I can not touch this as the rate is low. It is a weekly sometimes twice a week move.

I would think that if it's reefer loadable, it should be not hard to cover. Reefer guys want this lane, that's probably why it's so cheap.

I am willing to give all my clients details and a carrier can deal direct with them
