I just talked to one of the boys at T Express(never heard of them), anyway he has 10' 25,000 lbs to move from Concord to Red Deer. When I told him my rate, which i thought was fair as I always am, he told me he had 1100.00 and he could get it done all day for that price.

Any one else ever heard of T Express and what hole did these guys crawl out of?
 
Surprise, surprise, all those guys that were doing it for that price "all day long", have either gone out of business, or are moving freight at better rates.

Same here ... my standard response, and I don't normally swear on the phone, is "then what the f**k did you call me for?"
I never get a reply ... LOL
 
Who the heck is Arrowhead...I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry.
Last week, two forklifts...16' of trailer Bolton to LA...975.00
They topped themselves this week....8' forklift 8000 lb Bolton to Minneapolis...350.00
Whats worse...the loads eventually disappear off the loadboard...Whats that mean?
I'm thinking of putting my trucks on with them :)
 
Wow, I'm surprised they had $975! I learned very quickly that these guys at Arrowhead only move forklifts and they are always cheap, for a while they were at about $350 for everything. The just don't seem to care how long their stuff sits on the load board. Select Logistics also moves the same forklifts not sure if they are related or not, but their rates are just as bad.
