Shipment was flatbed LTL (an 8000 lb machine) from Hamilton to north western SK that picked up on March 10.
After Harry told us it was delivered on the 18th we found out from our customer on the 21st that it hadn't delivered (excuse: it had loaded onto a different trailer; they were following the wrong trailer).
On the 21st they told us it would deliver on the 22nd.
On the 22nd they told us the truck had broken down in Winnipeg on the 18th but would deliver on the 23rd now.
On the 23rd they told us it was enroute and should be there by 2 or 3 PM and later on told us driver was on site (he wasn't).
On the 24th they said they called receiver on the 23rd and he said he would be closed when they came through so they continued on to Edmonton for an "urgent" shipment.
Receiver said that time of delivery wasn't the issue. The driver became upset when he was told that he would have to unload a block away from shipper's facility because they couldn't offload an 8000 lb piece. Driver never called back.
On the 24th Harry told us it would deliver "mid-day" tomorrow. Truck ended up being "tied up" on a delivery in Edmonton all day on the 25th so no delivery.
On the 28th we finally got them to bring it to a crossdock in Edmonton and we got another carrier on it and it finally delivered on the 29th.
19 days, a string of lies and zero service. What a joke of a company.
