Remember dealing with this guy last year.
Picked up big partial load last year in South East USA and cross docked it in Montreal for a carrier to bring it to Nova Scotia.
Freight sat on dock for at least 2 weeks. Got us worried a bit.
Called Jeff and asked for a post dated check for freight. When that never came , called their office.
Jeff calls back and starts using vulgar language, the f word was prevalent.
I hung up called back his secretary and told her the shipment would not leave my dock until the check was in hand. Jeff called back and swore some more!!
The check came via courier the next day, this after I called the consignee.
I guess my gut feeling was right!
