Beware as they are brokering freight but not paying carriers. We have 10 thousand over 100 days and they have no intention of paying the freight bills. Cliff the owner doesn't like it when shippers are called and asked for the money he hasn't paid. Too bad for Cliff, his story the past couple of months was that a payables clerk left the payables in such a mess they didnt know when they could pay carriers. It turned out that they aren't paying carriers at all.

Usually it's the case of the AP person saying 'screw this, I can't do my job if all the money's gone'. Keep going after the customers.

CDM Logistics

Hi Gord,

Do you have a phone number or an address for him?

I have the phone number, a Dave called me after the posting to say he was going to make good on a couple of invoices Monday march 12th.

I will update if I get paid, but I have a hard time believing the story about how a payables clerk could cause months of delays in payments.

Numer is out of service. We hired a collection agency in Winnipeg to investigate, and she said there is no one at the building? They owe us $5000

For those who are owed monies by CDM Logistics - and are Link customers - I noticed the Link Equifax reports have suits noted against CDM by other companies. If you view your reports - take a look at the excel files for the last few days - CDM is noted a few times by different companies.

These plaintiff's were able to find CDM and get the legal ball rolling - doesn't hurt to contact them and let them know you are in the same boat and inquire as to where they have gone.

I would go this route if you are owed alot of monies or have exhausted contacting the shipper first.
