Just learned of new scam:
(a) SCAMMER gets copy of Good Carrier's Insurance, Authorities etc., but changes phone and fax numbers to 905-758-8016 and 905-784-1004 respectively.
(b) SCAMMER gets load usually produce and off of a US Freight Broker who thinks scammer is Carrier doing it for rock bottom price
(c) SCAMMER then uses a Good Broker's credit info etc but again changes phone and fax numbers to 905-758-8016 and 905-784-1004 respectively.
(d) SCAMMER posts the load with an alternate phone number in comments section offering big bucks
(e) SCAMMER then pretends he is the factoring company for the Good Carrier
You can figure out the rest - but this is especially difficult since the names that appear are good and reputable companies
JUST LOOKOUT FOR THE PHONE NUMBERS or check to see if the numbers given or faxed match the fixed numbers in Link or other freight matching boards
